In our December box, we included the materials for a Steiner-inspired wool fairy to go on your Christmas tree. We’ve included step-by-step instructions below and Paula has also recorded a video to show you how to put it together.

How to do it:

  1. Take a quarter of the wool to make the wings
  2. Use the rest of the wool to make the body. Stretch the wool out so it’s long, and tie a knot in the middle for the head
  3. Tie the thread below the head and secure
  4. Slide in the other piece of wool to make the wings
  5. Cross the thread to the front and secure it behind
  6. Now shape your fairy, the wool can be twisted and teased to give the fairy shape and movement

We’d love to see how your wool fairies look! Share on our Instagram or Facebook pages
