In our December box, we included the materials for a Steiner-inspired wool fairy to go on your Christmas tree. We’ve included step-by-step instructions below and Paula has also recorded a video to show you how to put it together.
How to do it:
- Take a quarter of the wool to make the wings
- Use the rest of the wool to make the body. Stretch the wool out so it’s long, and tie a knot in the middle for the head
- Tie the thread below the head and secure
- Slide in the other piece of wool to make the wings
- Cross the thread to the front and secure it behind
- Now shape your fairy, the wool can be twisted and teased to give the fairy shape and movement
