What’s inside my Peas and Pod box?

Your Peas and Pod box will arrive filled with a variety of child-led creative activities and projects, carefully crafted to support the development of children aged 3-7. We aim to include at least seven different activities, although this varies from month to month depending on the theme. The activities are influenced by Montessori, Steiner, Reggio Emilia and Forest School.

We cover the EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage) key learning areas within each box: communication and language, physical development, personal, social and emotional development, literacy, mathematics, understanding the world, and expressive arts and design.

Do I need anything else that’s not included to complete the activities with my child?

We provide you with a range of materials for each activity, such as tongs to help develop Practical Life skills, which can be reused again and again. Some activities may require extra and everyday materials such as glue, paper or rubber bands.

Are the contents of the boxes allergy free?

We work hard to source products that are free from potential allergens, including latex, dairy, soy, egg and gluten. If you have a concern about specific allergies your child has, please email us at hello@peasandpod.com so we can let you know if there are any potential allergens in upcoming boxes.

How much is each box?

A single seasonal box is £20 including P&P within the UK. Our Birthday Celebrations Box is £35 including P&P within the UK. Or sign up for a 12-month subscription for our seasonal boxes, which you can cancel or pause at any time, and you’ll get your 12th (and last) box for free, which works out at around £18.30 a box. Subscriptions will be charged on the 30th of each month. You can cancel or pause your subscription at any point by logging into Your Account.

How much is postage?

Postage is FREE for all UK orders, and we send with second class post with Royal Mail. We currently don’t ship outside of the UK.

How does payment work?

For subscriptions, payment is taken on the day you subscribe, thereafter on the 27th of every month. For a seasonal box and the Birthday Celebrations box purchases, payment is taken at the time of purchase.

When can I expect delivery?

For subscribers: We aim to post out our beautiful boxes in the first week of the month. So you should receive your box a few days after that. If you have started a new subscription at any time after the 4th of the month, we’ll usually send your box out within a day or two. Of course, there may be delays in certain circumstances outside of our control, such as at very busy times of the year such as Christmas. In the unusual event of any delays, we will email you to inform you as soon as possible.

For one-off seasonal boxes and The Birthday Celebration Box: We send via 2nd class Royal Mail post and aim to post out one-off box orders either on the same or next day (apart from weekends). You should receive your box a few days after that. Of course, there may be delays in certain circumstances outside of our control.

Do you deliver internationally?

Not currently, but please join our mailing list so we can let you know when we do. We do have downloadable versions of some of our boxes.

What if I move house or want to change payment card?

If you’re moving house or planning to change your payment card, you can let us know by updating the section in Your Account.

How do I order a subscription?

You can order a subscription here. You will usually receive your first box between the 4th and 8th of the following month.

Can I order a one-off box or a gift?

Yes you can! Go here to order a one-off box. You will usually receive your box between the 4th and 8th of the following month. We can also supply past boxes, subject to availability. Please email hello@peasandpod.com with your request.

How do I pause my subscription?

If you need to pause your subscription, you can do so at anytime by logging into Your Account. Subscriptions will be charged on the 27th of each month so please do so before that date to ensure you don’t receive the following month’s box

Of course, and the Peas and Pod content is perfect for you to deliver a structure to your child’s day, ensuring they enjoy a balance of creativity, nature and multi-sensory learning. A particularly rich resource for children not in a nursery setting, our Peas and Pod boxes are useful in providing support for your own professional development.
